IMPORTANT DETAILS

PARKING

Parking is limited and we ask that you walk, bike, carpool, or take Septa. If you must drive, you are responsible for finding your own street parking. Keep in mind the city will be blocking off the streets for the festival at 5 AM so be sure to navigate your way around and give yourself plenty of time to park and get to your shift. Most street parking is free on Sundays, however you must read street signs. The festival will not be responsible for your car including parking tickets or the famous boot & tow.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

PLEASE be at least 15 minutes early for your shift. When you arrive, please check in at the VOLUNTEER TABLE located at the FESTIVAL HEADQUARTERS on 2 nd and Lombard. You will sign in, sign a waiver, get your t shirt, and your meal ticket. We will then be directing you from there.

DRESS CODE

You will be given a 100% Organic VOLUNTEER T SHIRT. Your shirt is yours to keep and wear during your shift so that vendors and patrons can easily spot you if they have a question. The shirt is designed with the logos of all of our festival Sponsors and Partners. While you are on your shift, you will not be permitted to wear the names and or logos of other persons or organizations (i.e. a campagin button or a sticker from an organization). We suggest that you wear sneakers or comfortable shoes as you may be on your feet all day.

FOOD & WATER

Food will be provided by the festival. We will be sure to have plenty of vegetarian options, however, if you have specific dietary needs (such as gluten or lactose intolerances) please be prepared with your own food, as we cannot guarantee that the food provided will cater to all needs. We will do what we can to accommodate you.

Water Filling Stations will be available for you to refill your water bottle. Please bring a refillable water bottle with you. If you do not have one, our sponsors and vendors will be providing them in limited numbers. Bio-degradable cups will be available, but we prefer that you use a water bottle.

Please answer the questions above and e mail them to: GreenFest@urbangreenpartnership.org

Mention the word VOLUNTEER somewhere in your subject.
